Shedeur Sanders is “proud” of Angel Reese
The son of Coach Prime and the Heisman favorite clearly understands the pressures that the WNBA Rookie of the Year candidate faces, both on and off the court
If anyone can understand the pressure athletes face beyond the football field or basketball court, it’s Shedeur Sanders and Angel Reese.
While Angel continued her unprecedented double-double streak today in a Chicago Sky victory over the Atlanta Dream, Shedeur was putting in work in front of the cameras.

Shedeur received attention from ESPN, FOX Sports, and numerous local and national TV and radio outlets, and he handled it well. As the day came to a close, I had the chance to speak with the Colorado quarterback for a few minutes. I specifically asked him about the similarities he sees between himself and someone he knows, Angel Reese.
“I like how she handles things a lot, the majority of her stuff, I like how she handles. She does a good job. She’s taking advantage of the situation she’s in and I’m excited and I’m proud of her for that.”

It’s been fascinating to watch both of these athletes develop into the superstars they are today. I’m sure we will be hearing plenty more from each of them in the days ahead.
