Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has surprised many fans and detractors with her individual WNBA success this season.

The “Chi Barbie” is currently leading the league in rebounds per game (with 12), set a WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles in a season (with 15), earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors last week, and will be taking part in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game this weekend.

Yet, Reese can accomplish all of the individual records and accolades in the world. But she has made it clear that none of those deeds will mean much to her if she doesn’t secure her biggest life goal along the way.

The Chicago Sky’s X account posted a video of Reese answering rapid fire questions on Monday.

One of the questions she had to answer was what her biggest goal in life is.

“Win a championship in the league,” Reese responded before moving on to her next question.

Given that Reese is such a team player, is passionate about basketball, and won a National Championship at LSU, perhaps this life goal shouldn’t come as a surprise.

But Sky fans are surely still glad to hear that their rookie has the biggest team prize of them all on her mind.
