Angel Reese has built a reputation on being outspoken on the court and off, with her writing another chapter over the weekend.

Seemingly from her bedroom, with a pink poster with some of her iconic moments over her left shoulder, Reese told people how ‘delusional’ they would be to think any WNBA player would fly men out to see them at their games.

The implication in Reese’s comments are how NBA players do that to women for their games.

Reese has kept her private life quiet for most of her time in the spotlight, with her meteoric rise beginning during last year’s NCAA Tournament.

Reese delivered the remark with huge hoop earrings, a light blue t-shirt, and pink sunglasses.

Let me just say something, I just want to say one thing, the delusion that you think I’m going to fly any of y’all out… be for real. Thank you,’ Reese said, speaking to the camera.

Reese’s assertion comes about a week after she was left shocked at a post-game press conference with an unidentified reporter talking about his personal affairs on a hot mic on a Zoom call.

As one reporter was asking about Reese breaking a double-double streak record held by Candace Parker, background noise caught an awkward conversation from someone else on the call.

Overheard was a woman’s voice asking the question, ‘[Are we] ever going to have an intimate relationship?’

A man’s voice then cuts in and says, ‘Oh my, that’s an uncomfortable topic.’

A confused Reese says, ‘Excuse me’ before staff asked the reporter to repeat their question. Reese was left shocked at someone not noticing their mic was on for the world to hear.

The man’s voice then cuts in clearer, saying, ‘I never had any interest in being intimate with anyone’.

Reese and the Chicago Sky are coming off back-to-back losses to the New York Liberty and return to action on Tuesday against the Las Vegas Aces.
