Katie Price said she no longer fears bankruptcy after hitting the headlines earlier this year, due to an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000

Katie Price is no stranger to being honest about the tough times in her personal life over the years, from bankruptcy, to relationship woes and depression.

Now, in her brand new memoir This Is Me: The high life. The dark times. The FULL story, the 46-year-old got even more candid about her past, present, and future, including what she has in mind should her earnings get too low.

Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019, and again back in March, this time due a reported unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000 owed to HMRC.

After previously being “triggered” by the word, the mother-of-five said she no longer fears the process as she “sees a way out” with a plan.

Should her income get too low, the model said she would consider being company for strangers, in exchange for cash.

Reflecting on her troubled times, she said: “Sometimes it does take a great deal of strength for me to remind myself that I’m OK.

“I have my house, I have my children, I have my family. The other thought that I will repeat to myself over and over again is, ‘nothing is the end of the world’.

“There’s probably nothing I can’t face that hasn’t been thrown at me already. I will always earn more money, I will always fight for my children, and I will never let myself get into the dark place again.”

Katie went on to say that bankruptcy no longer holds “the same fear now” as it used to, as should materialistic things be taken away, she will have no problem in earning it back.

“I will get into escorting if I need to, not to sleep with men, just for company. To be on their arm for a dinner date or something,” she shared.

“I think I’d be good at that. My mum would tell me I need to work on my table manners first though.”

For now, Katie, who is dating Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, said she is still earning “good money” in different ways including her Only Fans page.

Following her latest bankruptcy case, a judge ruled that she must give up almost half of her monthly income from the adult entertainment website to repay her debts.

After previous reports claimed she had only made £150 on the site, she hit back, declaring that this number couldn’t be further away from reality.

Speaking to Lewis Raymond Taylor on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast, she said: “Do you think someone who has been doing that for a career for 25 years is only going to make £150?

“Maybe put a couple more zeros on that and you’ll be a lot closer.

“People only hear what they want to hear, and I think that’s the damaging thing for more.”

She concluded, defiantly: “I no longer have to justify anything to anyone any more – I’m living proof that I can be knocked down to the gutter and come back up.”
