Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese cultivated a close relationship with her former Sky teammate Kysre Gondrezick during their time on the Sky together.

Reese and Gondrezick were seen getting meals together, attending concerts with one another, and even hung out with famous rapper G Herbo together after one Sky game.

Which is why Reese must have been heartbroken once Gondrezick was waived by the Sky a few weeks ago.

While Reese has never discussed her former teammate’s release publicly, she did make a note of Gondrezick’s appearance at the ESPYs yesterday in her Instagram story.

Reese reposted a photo of Gondrezick atthe award ceremony with the caption, “Ky you look beautiful” along with a heart eyes and teary-eyed emoji.

Gondrezick was there alongside NBA superstar Jaylen Brown, who recently won his first NBA championship with the Boston Celtics.

Brown and Gondrezick’s ESPYs appearance together all but confirms that the couple are in a relationship, which were first sparked when the former Sky player was seen with Brown during Boston’s NBA Championship parade.

Therefore, despite Gondrezick no longer being in the WNBA, she’s clearly still winning.
