On Thursday, Aliyah Boston gave the fans insight into her second season with the Indiana Fever. The addition of Caitlin Clark has brought so much more attention to the team and everybody wants to know what Boston, the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft, thinks of Clark, the No. 1 pick in this year’s edition.
On X, Boston had a midseason Q&A session with her fans. One of them asked:
“What’s your favorite play to run with CC (Caitlin Clark)?”
Boston replied:
“Any type of ballscreen action because she always makes a great read.”

She was also asked if she and Clark had the best pick-and-roll in the league, to which Boston had a humbling response.
“Idk if it’s the best in the league but I know we continue to work on it to get it there!”
Boston had the chance to talk about Clark’s jokes.
“Her jokes are hilarious 😂,” she replied when a fan asked if she had to endure pranks from Clark.
“I see people use it a lot! I like it,” she said about the ‘ABC²’ nickname for her and Clark.
Aliyah Boston is playing her second WNBA season with an Indiana Fever team that is five wins away from tying their record from last season with 15 more games to play.
Caitlin Clark has brought a spark to the team, and proof of that is their improved record and the fact that Clark, Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are headed to the 2024 All-Star Game.
Aliyah Boston spoke about Caitlin Clark’s ‘added pressure’ in the WNBA
Aliyah Boston touched on more serious topics about Clark during the Q&A session. One fan wondered if Clark had ‘added pressure’ now that she plays in the WNBA.
“With how much attention Catlin and this years draft class has brought to the Fever and the WNBA in general does add more pressure players to perform well or add more fuel to the tank knowing more people tuning in,” this fan said.
Boston had a simple response, recalling that they used to play in front of large crowds before becoming professionals.
“I don’t think it’s added pressure. We are used to playing with eyes on us in college so it doesn’t change because we are in the W,” Boston replied.
Caitlin Clark has been under the spotlight since she made it to the WNBA, but as Boston explained, that is nothing new for her. She’s ready to make an impact on the Fever and end the season on a high note.
