The stars were out at the Olympic Prelude at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris on Thursday.

Ahead of the opening ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics, LeBron James, Angel Reese, Serena Wiliams and more walked the red carpet as festivities for the games began.

James, who is no stranger to the Olympics, will be one of the United States’ flag bearers for this year’s games. The Los Angeles Lakers star is competing in his fourth Olympics and will look to lead Team USA to another gold medal.

While Reese isn’t participating in this year’s Olympics, the WNBA’s pause to allow players to compete for Team USA gave her the chance to go to Paris and support her fellow athletes.

Williams, an Olympic veteran who won’t compete this year, is the co-host of Thursday’s event.

Zendaya, who played a star tennis player on the big screen this year in Challengers, met actual tennis star Novak Djokovic on the red carpet.

Other stars like Naomi Osaka, Ashlyn Harris and more were also in attendance for Thursday’s Olympic Prelude.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will begin Friday with the Opening Ceremony beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. From there, action will begin on Saturday with more than 20 events ranging from basketball to water polo.
