Connecticut Sun star DiJonai Carrington had a strong response to one fan trying to mock her after the game against the New York Liberty at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The fan questioned why Carrington was still in uniform while paying attention to the Indiana Fever game featuring Caitlin Clark.

First, Carrington sent a cryptic message on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“But I’m a racist, jealous, coon, monkey, hatin a** b**** who needs to go back to Africa when I do it huh?😂😂😂😂😂 plssss. Like I said, this is basketball,” Carrington wrote.

One fan tried to shed light on this situation, sharing a video of Clark during the Mystics game.

Another fan asked if Carrington was watching the Fever game right after her own, which sparked a response from the Most Improved Player of the Year candidate.

When Tyasha Harris attempted a 3-pointer, Ionescu blocked her, sealing the win.
