Angel Reese has quickly become one of the WNBA’s biggest stars. Since being drafted by the Chicago Sky, Reese’s popularity soared, with the rookie being one of the top-five vote-getters for the All-Star Game. With that, comes an uptick in social media followers, however, Reese only uses X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.

Following the All-Star Game last weekend, Reese was informed that she’s been posting a lot on Facebook and Snapchat.

The only problem with this is that Reese doesn’t have Snapchat or Facebook, and doesn’t have a social media manager running accounts for her on either platform. While it’s unclear what account has been posting as Reese on Facebook and Snapchat, it sounds as though the pages have gotten some traction.

As a result, Reese informed her fans on X that she doesn’t use either of the two platforms.

“I don’t have snapchat or facebook FYI!” Reese tweeted.

“I say this because somebody just told me they follow me on snap & said I been posting a lot on there lmaooo I don’t even have the app,” Reese tweeted later.

Looking at the lighthearted social media war between Nneka Ogwumike and Dearica Hamby over Angel Reese

At the WNBA All-Star Game last weekend, Angel Reese joined forces with some of the biggest stars on the All-Star team. The group, which included fellow rookie star Caitlin Clark, picked up a stunning 117-109 win over Team USA leading up to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

After the game, Reese posted a series of photos from the All-Star weekend, which included a photo of her and Dearica Hamby during a press conference. In response, Hamby posted a comment, calling herself “Mama 5” and Reese “Mini 5.”

A fan shared the screenshot of the post and jokingly told Nneka Ogwumike to fight back against Hamby for Reese. Ogwumike responded with a photo of her and Reese on the bench laughing during the All-Star Game.

In response, Hamby shared a photo of Reese referring to her as “momma D” on Instagram.

“Hate to tell yall. She literally calls me mom,” Hamby wrote.
