Chicago Sky star rookie Angel Reese showed that she has impressive range in her Friday night game against the Seattle Storm.
Reese buried her first WNBA 3-pointer in her career against Seattle – and then did it again later in the contest.
Her first came as time was expiring on the first half – where Reese picked up a deflected pass, settled herself, and then drained the shot.
With the game at just a five point difference in the fourth quarter, Reese took an uncontested shot from beyond the arc and buried it again to extend the lead to eight.
Reese put up 27 points and ten rebounds against the Storm on Friday. That marks her 12th double-double in a row, joining Candace Parker as the only other player in the history of the WNBA to achieve such a feat.

The game remained close until the end as Reese buried two free throws with less than ten seconds remaining. Those were the final points in an 88-84 victory for Chicago.
It’s yet another example of Reese’s strong play that is putting her in the conversation for Rookie of the Year.
As expected, she’ll have strong competition for that honor with none other than her old college rival Caitlin Clark.
Reese leads the league in rebounds and is top-30 in points.
As for Clark, she’s 16th in points, third in assists, and sixth in 3-pointers made – but is held back as she also leads the league in turnovers.
