Jeremy Renner felt sad for Thanos actor Josh Brolin as he received immense hatred from fans after playing the iconic MCU villain.
Renner revealed that he did not directly meet Brolin while filming the final films of the Infinity Saga.

The Infinity Saga’s primary villain Thanos brilliantly created a hellish and apocalyptic scenario with every power at his disposal, which made him a worthy Avengers villain. Played by Josh Brolin, Thanos created an impressive mark in the Infinity Saga.

However, all fans were not ready to digest the chaos he created in the Universe or inside the circle of MCU’s elite superhero group, the Avengers. Thanos is the reason for the untimely demise of several Avengers, including fan-favorite Iron Man a.k.a Tony Stark. The Avengers star Jeremy Renner felt bad for the Thanos actor for the hatred he received from several fans.

Jeremy Renner, who played Clint Barton a.k.a Hawkeye in MCU since the original Avengers movie, felt sorry for the Thanos actor Josh Brolin for the hatred he faced after playing the character. “I think he almost feels bad that he has to play such a bad guy,” Renner said at the Asia Press Conference in Seoul while promoting Avengers: Endgame (via Brie Larson HQ). However, Renner never met Brolin on the set of the movie directly.
