He clearly didn’t want to talk about the Chiefs star

Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice showed his extremely angry side with reporters recently when he was asked a question about Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

It is no secret that the Chiefs have been a real thorn in the side of the 49ers in recent years, having lost two Super Bowls to the Kansas City team.

Mahomes has been the man at the center of that and 49ers fans would love it if he went and played elsewhere and stopped beating them repeatedly.

From 1985 to 2000, Rice was a vital component for the 49ers and the love he holds for the club has always been clear to see.

Rice can’t stand the Chiefs

Clearly, the last two Super Bowl defeats are a real sore point for Rice and he let that be known to two reporters who asked him about Mahomes during an American Century Championship event.

A video from TMZ shows him shouting at the reporters: “I will f**k you up! If you want some, come get some.”

Once Rice had walked away, the reporters were clearly astounded and one of them was heard saying: “That’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened in my life.”

TMZ approached Rice for a comment the next day and he explained that the reporters were going out of their way to agitate him.

“I’m going to defend the San Francisco 49ers,” Rice said. “This is my history.”

Clearly nobody would be happier than Rice if the 49ers managed to win the Super Bowl next season, and even more so if it came against the Kansas City Chiefs with Mahomes on the field.
