The American gymnast, 27, won the all-around gymnastics title for her second Olympic gold in Paris and sixth overall on Thursday.

In an adorable snap shared to Instagram, her NFL star husband, 29, who donned a black T shirt with Biles emblazoned in huge red writing, formed a heart shape with his fingers from the crowd.

Biles gave a hand heart symbol back to Owens, who has been dubbed the most ‘supportive husband’ on social media after he took a break from training camp to support his wife at the Olympics.

Owens has gone viral for being a ‘supportive husband’ as he was spotted taking notes of her stats at the Olympics on Wednesday.

The Chicago Bears player was seen furiously scribbling her stats on a piece of paper as he intently watched Team USA from the crowd in a white T shirt with her name and face plastered across it.

Owens was seen video taping his wife, as she performed, and cheered loudly for her after she finished her performances.

Biles wowed in all three events – floor, beam, and vault – during the final, and helped secure the team’s epic gold medal win as Team USA earned an impressive winning score of 171.296.

Biles helped USA land its first gymnastics gold of the Paris Games on Tuesday, when they saw off Italy and Brazil in the teams final with an impressive winning score of 171.296.

It goes down as America’s first victory in the event since 2008, with the likes of Sunisa Lee and Jordan Chiles also inspiring them to the historic win in the French capital.

Yet following her first success in Paris, fans have been left fuming on social media after Owens – Biles’ husband of the last two years – was seen proudly wearing her medal on Tuesday night.

In a post celebrating his wife, the Chicago Bears safety posed next to her with the gold around his neck and wrote: ‘Witnessing history every time you step on the mat – Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it’.

She showed her appreciation for him by writing: ‘means the world you’re here’.

But despite his heartwarming words, Owens has been blasted by fans online for his ‘odd’ behavior in wearing the medal.

One wrote: ‘You do realize that is not your medal… right?’ Another put: ‘But why are you wearing it? How odd.’

‘I knew he was gone wear her medal like he won it,’ said a third user. A fourth commented: ‘That’s Simone’s gold medal you’re holding, not yours my guy.’

Simone famously withdrew from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo after she fumbled on the vault.

She later said she had suffered from something called ‘the twisties’ – a mental block that causes gymnasts to feel like they are ‘lost in the air.’

The athlete has also hinted that the incident had to do with the sexual abuse she had suffered at the hands of pedophile doctor Larry Nassar.

She was one of more than 150 gymnasts who were abused by Larry, the former national team doctor, during his 30-year career, and in 2019, she said the trauma of the assaults had left her struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Afterwards, she took a two-year hiatus from the sport but returned last year; and she’s now making waves at the 2024 Olympics.

She helped Team USA earn a gold medal at the team finals on Tuesday, which made her the most decorated American gymnast of all time.

And on Thursday’s event, she scored another – after overcoming a rare error in the uneven bars.

She was left fuming after botching a transition and scoring 13.733, which saw her surrender the lead to Brazil’s Rebecca Andrade.

She was visibly irritated as she made her way off the podium, with replays appearing to show her mouthing to her coach, ‘F**k.’

But the 27-year-old recovered with outstanding performances on the beam and floor, scoring 14.566 and 15.066 respectively to snatch the victory from Rebecca, who took silver.

Her teammate Suni Lee picked up a bronze medal after a sensational effort on the floor.
